Events in Tahko: festivals, sports and things to do

Throughout the year, Tahko resort offers a huge number of events, including international ones.

One of the most important business events in Finland, held at Tahko every year for over 30 years. It is not just a competition but also a valuable opportunity to find new partners, strengthen existing relationships, negotiate, and attend training seminars.

Dates: 13-15 November 2026

Usually held on weeks 8-9

During this period, schoolchildren have a week of vacation, making it an excellent opportunity for families to come together and enjoy the resort. Access to all activities is available: slopes, lifts, restaurants, cafes, and SPA centers.

Booking cottages begins in advance. This event combines business with an informal atmosphere, making it a unique experience.

A fun-filled carnival competition for running enthusiasts. Everyone who completes at least one lap will receive a medal. The track features obstacles, making it an enjoyable challenge. Participants can choose the length of the race, and fun costumes are highly encouraged.

An annual mountain biking event that has become the largest in Finland, attracting around 2000 athletes and enthusiasts. Six different routes are offered, including 240 km, 180 km, 120 km, 60 km, 45 km, and 25 km.

Event dates: 2-3 of July 2027.

Participants can look forward to challenging routes with descents, ascents, gravel paths, and scenic trails, regardless of difficulty.

A festival for those passionate about large vehicles. Modern and rare trucks and vans from distant countries and cities will be on display.

Visitors can enjoy a free event, and the festival atmosphere begins the evening before when the exhibits arrive.
